Hello all,
I've been working with the PowerBi desktop (normal yellow version) for a year and used to upload the model on the report server.
Now that we move the report server to the january 2020 version we also decided to move the desktop version to the optimized for report server (Jan 2020 also).
Here is what I have when I'm trying to use the same report that is already running on the report server with no issue:
Is the many to many relationships the real struggle? I don't have any Direct Query source. Report is working good on the report server and I don't think I can run the report without many to many relationships. Any idea?
Thank you,

I do confirm that many to many was the problem.
Here is what I did:
- Replaced all many to many by one to many relationships. Unique ID created if requested.
- Replaced all "both" relationships by "single"
- Replaced all calculated columns in fact table by measures.
My model dropped from 400Mo to 150Mo and the loading time dropped from 30secondes to 14secondes.
Thanks!
