Unable to access Web Portal root folder

Hello,

I've configured my PBIRS using Report Server configuration and managed to add my account to the Power BI Reportserver Systemadministrators role.

However, when I navigate to the Webportal rootfolder a message pops up saying: "Folder content could not b loaded. Insufficient permissions to view the folder."

Also manage folders and the New Buttons are missing on the main menu.

On the same computer I have SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services installed and the Report Server Manager Web UI works without any issues.

Appreciate any thoughts how to troubleshoot.

Thanks

Bodo

Instead of powerbi.yoursite.com, try powerbi.yoursite.com/reports/browse

Otherwise, I would double-check your permissions structure.

Thanks, yes it was a permission issue.

After launching the browser with local admin permissions I was prompted to login to SSRS site.

I have to enter my local administrator credential to set the folder permissions.

Now when I access Power BI Report Server Web page I have full access.

Thanks

Bodo
