Sub-folder creation

In Online Workspaces, is it possible to create sub-folders in the Reports page ?

 

We now have more than 30 reports and would like to segregate them into categories (Timesheets, Project Status etc. etc.) to stop the view looking cluttered and making it easier to find the report you want.

you are using the Power BI service which has a seperate area in this group, that forum can be found here https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/bd-p/power-bi-web-app

 

I believe there is no option in the service to use folders to organize the reports, but the people in the service forum might give you a more accurate answer. I will ask a question though, would it be possible to split these up into multiple workspaces? You would have instead of the "MyCompany" workspace, it could be "MyCompanyFinance" and "MyCompanySales" etc...

So in Power BI Report Server, yes, you can create folders to make the layout more user friendly. Users can also do this if the have the proper role (Content Manager or Publisher).

 

In you post however, you mention "Online Workspaces" and Power Bi Report Server doesnt have the workspaces component, are you using https://powerbi.microsoft.com?

Hmm, probably using incorrect terminology, I am using

 

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/........................................../list/reports

 

On this site I see the following

with our 30+ reports showing as a list, ollowing on from the 2 in the above image.

Thanks @Anonymous , I knew it would be down to terminology. 

Thanks for the pointers, yes, I could indeed set up separate workspaces but was looking to see if other options were available to keep everything in one place.  I'll check in, as you suggest,  with the Service forum and see if they are aware of folder ability.
