Report Server Power BI

Hello Team,

As we build rdl reports using Expression-based Connection Strings, can we define Parameters in PBIX (the reports we have deployed in SSRS ) which prompts for Parameters when report url is opened on machine where Power BI Desktop not installed.

Eg : Basic report which asks for SQL Server name (Dynamic Value) and list all the processes running  in it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Suprith,

We could add Query Parameter in Power BI report to dynamically select data source. But this parameter  is not supported on Report Server. After publishing PBI report to report server, there is no parameter prompt when we open the report. So, I'm afraid your requirement cannot be achieved now.
