Hi,
I want to set a filter on a power bi report for individual end-users (business units who are sitting in different
countries/locations). Everyone should only see their own business unit and none of the others. Is there a possibility to
restrict the report view and lock or restrict the selection of the filter box, so that nobody can see the data of
the other business units? I cannot control this over the the authorization management. Have someone an idea how I can solve
this problem.
Maybe I have to create the report für every business unit. When I have Germany, USA and China then I would have 3 Reports.
I would like to get around that.

I believe you should be implementing Row Level Security in your PBI report instead of creating multiple reports.

Thank you so much for your support! That helped me a lot. I have not the Power BI Desktop just the Power Bi (Power BI User), where I can create DataSets, reports or dashboards. The installation of the Power BI Desktop is for free, or? So I just have to download this? I am really new in this area, sorry for the asking but I know nobody to talk about that.
Yes, Power BI Desktop is free to download and create interactive reports.
If you want to publish your report then you would require a license.
