Well, this is just as expected.

The Power BI reports are accessible only via the portal, not the SSRS web service.

Hi ,
Can you explain me difference berween
web service url and web portal url
i need following explaination
1. what is use of each url
2. when to use

@roshramkar the webservice needs to be running to run the portal engine so to speak however you should never need to access it it directly, all your reports get accessed via the webportal

If I took the time to answer your question and I came up with a solution, please mark my post as a solution and /or give kudos freely for the effort 🙂 Thank you!

So, I am an IT Developer creating reports for my users, what url should I use to share reports to my end-users?

Reports or ReportServer?

That's a good question, we have a custom "Report Organizer" we use to present our reports and our users don't use the portal at all. Everything we link them to is via /ReportServer right now and until now we had no reason to assume our users would be hitting the main portal page. Thanks for bringing this up, going to have to shift things around a bit if we can't link direct through /ReportServer.
