RLS can be applied with power BI report server

Is it possible to apply RLS on Power BI report server?

Currently, RLS only works when publishing Power BI reports to service, as we need to add members to roles on service site. Power BI Report Server doesn't support this feature. 

However, if your data source supports RLS, you can configure RLS on data source side. After publishing report to Power BI report server, set the data source credential to "As the user viewing the report". Here is a similar thread for your reference.

May I suggest you mention this on the RLS documentation? PBI RS is nowhere to be seen there:

And the PBI RS version of PBI Desktop does have the Security > Manage / View Roles buttons, which do work (I just tested it in PBI RS Desktop August Preview). Does this mean RLS will be supported in the Q4 GA release? It's a bit cumbersome to have to manage RLS in the SQL source (and at least we have that option, it's not the case for all data sources).
