Pulling Excel file from Sharepoint

I made the mistake of trying to use Sharepoint Folders to pull in tables from an Excel workbook but quickly realised it was a terrible UX compared to just pulling in excel files directly.

So I've obtained the location of the file (open the excel file in desktop app from Sharepoint Oneline and go to File where you can see the network location) and used this in Power BI to open an Excel source.

Works perfectly in PowerBI desktop!

Doesn't appear to work when I've uploaded the PBIX file to report server and try to refresh the data (or schedule). On the data source tab I've entered login details for accessing the files (I've confirmed that they have access by using those details directly in sharepoint), but I get told the network path is not found.

Any idea's how to make PBI ReportServer understand the network path to sharepoint please?

Thanks
