HY guys,
I hope anyone can help me with my issue.
My task is it to creat a Power BI Report on the Power BI Report Server with a "live connection" to an SSAS. So far, so good, but my
problem is the right configuration of the sql-cube or maybe the Data Source View in visual studio. If anyone know Power BI Report Client you know what I mean If I say you can't do anything in this client only click the tables and mesures to creat a report. But you can't make relationships or go in the table to edit them. Its very tricky I think - so I hope someone has the same issue like me and had found a solution.
On the picture you can see two reports from Power PI Report Client. On of them show the rigth sharing of the columns. The other one show me the names of the columns which I want for a good report but not the rigth sharing. I try to make relationsships in visual studio, to edit the mesure from "sum" to "count row", to edit the properties of the single attribute and so on. But nothing helps... So maybe someone of you can help me and know my problem?
I see forward to solve this issue quick with your help 🙂

Hi @KBO,
Power BI report server only support live connection to SSAS currently. In your scenario, as you connect to SSAS cube live, relationships and measures must be defined on SSAS side, it's not able to modify mode in Power BI desktop for report server.
You can post a thread in SSAS forum to verify if the mode is designed properly.

@v-qiuyu-msftThx for your answer I will post my issue in the SSAS forum also, but I thougt that maybe someone has the same problem in Power BI Report Client and had solved it.
The live connetion to the report server isn't the problem this works fine so I try to work in visual studio (for business intelligence) in the cube to finde the rigth poperties, measures and relationsships :). But thanks for the information.
