Powerbi cant retreive table and freezes it for any other clients

Hey all,

Not too long ago our entire dataset was switched over to Dataflows so we work with multiple people without constantly being in each others way. It also helps with our data refresh time which is set at night so any possible strain on hardware wouldn't be noticed by my collegues. 

The problem is that we cant open our main orders table. The online editor seems to be taking for ever with loading it whilst it should only take a few seconds at most loading the top 1000 rows. even worse, when attempting to open it the table on Powerbi it seems to lock the table and freeze it. this freezes the table for everyone in the office actualling using it in their day to day workflow. The SQL server doesn't seem in any way fazed by it and shows about 3% usage.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? IS it a problem in our Gateway? is it a simple setting or the result of a bigger problem?

We can't seem to edit the table now at all, and it being our biggest and baddest one it does require some upkeep and smaller fixes from time to time.

@Anonymous - Haven't seen anything exactly like that. You could check the Issues forum here:
