Hi,
We using PowerBI Report Server (June 2017). We create a PowerBI report (with PowerBI Desktop) that connects to a SSAS cube (live connection). The report contains simple Bar/Pie charts. That cube is refreshed with SSIS per hour.
Is it possible the PowerBI report on Report Server to be autorefreshed without a user pressing the Refresh Button or without refreshing the whole page in browser? For example a user see the report on his browser, then it moves on another tab, then returns on the tab that had already open the report and needs to see the new data without refreshing the page or pressing the refresh button.
Is this possible? The same situation is if we need to present the Power BI dashboard in a wall monitor.
Thanks
Did you find a solution to this or create an idea for it?
Hi @atgtops,
You can try to interact in the visual eg: sort one column to see if the data update automatically.
If it doesn't, you can submit a idea here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

Hi v-qiuyu-MSFT,
The "do no action" is required.
Thanks
Hi @atgtops,
