PowerBI Reporting Server and Desktop in different domains

Hi there, 

Is it possible to use ADFS for the connection between BI Desktop and the BI Reporting Service - this is an on premise. Where the DW and the BI server is on one domain and the desktop is on another and the users looking at reports will be needing to hit the reporting server also in a different domain ? 

I used ADFS to do the same for SharePoint you see and i was hoping i can use the same solution ? thanks.
