Dears,
Anyone encounter installed Power BI Server cannot start up the services as screen shot ?
How to resolve it ?
The server initially within network with join domain which looks fine for everything, after put on DMZ without AD then the services cannot be startup. However, there is local admin profile already but dun sure if this is related or not.
Thanks !
Hi Andy - the report server must have access to a domain in order to run. If you're running in a DMZ, could try creating a local domain for the DMZ and have the server join to it. Just be aware that you can't run on the same machine as the domain controller.
Hi Heide,
Many Thanks for your feedback.
Any official url or statement could also reference take a look to have more understanding ?
Thanks !
I don't have the URL handy, but I'm sure it's referenced in the SQL Reporting Services documentation (which is the same for PBI Report Server)
I further check the log with error as below

Anyone knows the cause of error in the log ?
Thanks !
It is an internal config file, it's likely there is a misconfiguration such as missing service or URL reservation. Easiest woudld be to uninstall + reinstall and run through the configuration steps with the machine joined to a domain.
