Power BI Report Server and Local Time Zone

I have just installed Power BI Report Server and am accessing a local SQL server for the data. One of the main reasons we invested in RS was hoping to get rid of the issues with everything using UTC instead of local time zone (EST). I published the first report to the RS yesterday and checked the report and at 8:00 the report reset as if it was a new day. Does anyone know why a local RS and data set would still be using UTC instead of the server time? Thanks.

Both the Report Server and the SQL Server are set to Eastern Time Zone... yet the report resets to the next day at 8:00PM as if it was midnight.

Hi, @Deronhess

Check the timezone of the computer that hosted SQL Server. For more, you can refer to this document.

Best.
