Hello,
I recently upgraded my Power BI Report Server to the October 2020 version and subsequently updated my desktop version to the RS version optimized for report server.
However, I noticed all my reports (new or edited) with the new RS Desktop Version for October cannot schedule refresh on the server. Everything works on my desktop. I get this error from my server.
It also seems its not finding one of my queries. I decided to rename the file and install a new version and same problem occurs.

Same here. The November 20 update did not resolve the problem and every other mitigation we've previously used for this type of issue also did not fix it.
Hello @Tecbum
It's really disappointing.
Now, I am afraid to make updates to any of my dashboards and for the two I have already edited. I manually refresh on my desktop and then upload the refreshed files to the server. Imagine having to do that three times a day for two reports so users have some data refresh. Currently speaking to Microsoft BI Team in my region, if they come up with any fix I will let you know.
