Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

Hi,

After I updated my power bi report server to november version my previous custom branding file did not work fully. The section right above the report are having white font color. How should I change the color? Which json command is controlling it? Is there a dictionary or reference for us to see what can we script to control the layout in the json?

Re: Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

Hi guys,

I figured it out. It's tied together with the button font color. Change it in branding package json file, object attribute  --> "primaryContrast":"#fff". change it to #000 black or any other color will do.  🙂

cheers.

Hi @joiecy,

Can you share your brand package file with us?

You can go through this document to know brand package define:  Branding the web portal

Re: Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

We also have the same problem, June and August releases render the text in black but October release renders in white for the same branding package. Any solution yet?

Thanks

Re: Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

Thanks joiecy, however I notice that the text on the "Upload brand package" is now black. We have the backgrouond of that button as dark purple which makes the text quite hard to read now, not that it will be used very often though I suppose. I wonder why the reference was changed?

Re: Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

Yea, mine too. Not sure why they do it this way. Since the button is less being seen, I just simply excuse it.

Re: Power BI Report Server Branding Font Color

Have noticed a few other buttons that use it now, quite annoying.
