Power BI Report Builder Parameters Type mismatch error

Hello,

I'm building a paginated report on Power BI Report builder using an SSAS cube as my data source. I'm having issues with some of my parameters. If I select ALL or just one value I don't get an error, but when I select two or more values it throws me the following error:

The following system error occurred: Type mismatch.
----------------------------
Query execution failed for dataset 'TransactionsX'.
----------------------------
An error has occurred during report processing.
----------------------------
An error occurred during local report processing.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've been looking all over the place and I can't find a solution.

Thank you,

This is most likely caused by the fact that multiple  selections in parameters get passed as an array of values and the query engine expects a parameter to be passed as a string.

There are a couple of solutions to this, the simplest is using the PATHCONTAINS technique here:

https://prologika.com/ssrs-multivalue-parameters-in-dax/

But PATHCONTAINS is not the best for performance, the following solution involves more code, but produces faster queries:
