Power BI Error

Hello,

When I try to run powerbi reports from multiple sources (academic detailer webpage or visn specific reports) I get the following error. Does anyone have a solution?

  • An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    • Cannot create a connection to data source 'LSV'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
      • The target principal name is incorrect. Cannot generate SSPI context.

Is LSV a SQL Server data source or any other.

What kind of authentication are you using.

Try using specific user with Data Read rights rather than Windows Authentication.

So apparently this was a bigger issue than just my account at my facility. The IT department had to update several
"permissions" and it is now functioning again!
