Passing service account credentials when accessing Power BI reports from an Application

Hello,

We have configured our on premise Power BI environment to use Basic Windows authentication, which does prompt every user to enter credetials before viewing the power BI reports.

We have an application which is accessing the Power BI reports using and SVC account and loading them within that App itself.

The SVC account has been granted proper access prmissions on Power BI side based on reports.

Considering we have Basic authetication which prompts the users for credentials, is there a way for this Application which is embedding Power BI report using SVC account to kind of pass the password along before displaying them on the App? or use a different method?

The challege we get here is that because the Power BI expect every user including SVC account to enter credentials, This Application doesn't display the reports.

Below is the error we are getting from the application:

"

System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.HttpChannelFactory`1.HttpRequestChannel.HttpChannelRequest.WaitForReply(TimeSpan timeout)"

Thank you
