Pass URL parameter and hide the filter in the pane

I have successfully figured out how to pass a parameter through the URL to a published report. It will filter on the value I pass into the report. But even though I have hidden the filter for those values in the desktop version so that it doesn't show when there is no parameter passed, that filter will show up in the filter pane. The message on hover is, "This filter came from a query string paramter that was added to a report URL."

I need to hide this filter. Is this possible?

Hey @bgibb @Anonymous @Raviz  - I do have a similar requirement, did any of you find any solution for the same?

Hallo everyone, somebody figured out a solution to this? It's really strange nobody never talked about that and even official documentations don't say nothing about this.
