Need Help with Refresh capabilities of Power BI Premium

Hello Everyone,

I've a query about I want to refresh my data more than 8 times a day, If I go for premium will I be able to share the reports with other Pro users?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

so you have here two questions:

1) Refresh more than 8 times a day in Premium -> Yes, but in Power BI Service! In Power BI Report Server you can choose more than this

2) Sharing: with premium capacity you are allowed to share and every person without any licence can see it. If you are a pro user you can share as well but your recipient need a pro licence to. In Power BI Report Server this is also a little bit diffrent.

But I've one query about the viewership.

Do we've have to pay for our clients or it comes as a complimentary of having a Premium capacity?

If you have Premium Capacity than the viewer are included intern and extern as well. If you want to publish reports you need a seperate Pro Licence :).

Hello @KBO ,

Just wanted to ask for my undrstanding that if we purchase Premium license that my Clients will be able to see these reports which I share with them right? and there will be no other additional purchases of license from our side or from theirs to view it.

I'm really sorry but I'm relatively new to the Power BI so please help me.

If you add to the workspace in which the report is a premium capacity your external users are able to see the reports without licence on there site.
