Finance Report

Hello everyone,
I have one Amount column and it brings me all the numbers to the reports, the problem is that the numbers come in minus 500 instead of (500).

I know this is a common problem but in all the solutions I didn't find anything to fix it .

Great, then we are halfway to the answer 🙂
It probably doesn't work because you are putting a column in the place of a Measure.
I think you should make a measure as Total Amount = SUM(Amount), and then use that measure in this Formating.

Measure = FORMAT(Total Amount,"#,###0;(#,###0)")

or you can make this all in one measure with a variable :
Measure =
var Total Amount = SUM(Amount)
return FORMAT(Total Amount,"#,###0;(#,###0)")

Hi,
I'm not completely sure about the question. If I understand you correctly you
want to format the Amount, if it is negative to put Amount into brackets.

If this is correct just make a measure like this :

FORMAT(Amount,"#,###0;(#,###0)")

You got me right, but it's a solution I've already tried and it doesn't work for me, this is the message I getעזרה 3.PNG

Many thanks for the time and greatly appreciate it
