Exporting PBIX files from the catalog database for PowerBI Report Server

Hi,

Long story short...I understand from another post that the PBIX files are stored in the catalog database.

They are stored in the server SQL database configured for the server, known as the "catalog"

Does anyone know how to retrieve PBIX files directly from the database (if this is even possible) without having to stand up a Power BI Report Server?

Best Regards

Matt

Correct, the files ar stored in the report server database. Take a look at the following forum post for instructions on how to extract the files.
