Error "The Item '' cannot be found" when scheduling refresh

Hello all! we just upgraded our server to Septemeber 2022 and are running into an issue with scheduling refreshes. This is a new thing we've never done on this server before, so I'm not sure if this issue is related to the upgrade or just server set up.

When trying to schedule a data refresh, we're getting an error message of "The item 'x/x' cannot be found. However, the item exists, and works.  How can we fix this?

Hi @InTheDark ,

I test the "Schedule Refresh" function in Power BI Report Server(Septemeber 2022), it works well and also could edit it.

Please confirm the schedule plan if had deleted before.

There is a document for troubleshooting, please refer: Troubleshoot scheduled refresh in Power BI Report Server - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

I did see that, but couldn't figure out if my issue was related to the issues on the page. After doing some troubleshooting, I think what my issue is is our Power BI is on the same server as SSRS, and its database name is PBReportServer, rather than ReportServer. It looks like the data refreshes are trying to save to the ReportServer database (which is the SSRS database), but can't because SSRS doesn't have the DataModelRefresh option. All other Power BI data is saving correctly to PBReportServer, so I'm not sure how to redirect refreshes to this other server.
