Entered data reverts after auto refresh

One of our reports has both manually entered data and data from a database. It is published on our on-prem report server. The report is scheaduled for auto refresh wich works fine.

When we publish a new version of the report it looks correct. But when auto refresh kicks in during the night, the values in the manually entered tabel is reverted to its original values when first published.

It looks like auto refresh uses some cashed dataset from when the report was first published and disregards the dataset in the new version of the report. Does anybody have a solution or a workaround for this?

What version of report server are you using? I've seen this issue reported against the Jan 2020 release, but this seems to be fixed in the latest May 2020 release. (note there is still an issue with data-refresh and multi-server scale out farms, but single server deployments appear to work fine.)

Yes we are running Version 1.6.7364.4075 (January 2020). OK, so an upgrade would probalby help. This is a minor but anoying error so I think we will wait for the September release.

Thanks!
