I want to populate dropdown filter values based on session.
How do I do that?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found a solution for this using query string filter.
Unfortunately, it allows only one value but, I got a workaround for that.
It would be nice to have In and Like filter besides standard eq filter.

Hi @arpitutrivedi,
Which "session" do you mean? Could you clarify your requirement?

I want to make industry dropdown in below report dynamic based on which user is logged in. I want to pass user id in query string and based on that, Industry dropdown values should be populated.
Hello @arpitutrivedi,
i felt in a similar problem some days ago and i could workarround that using the Roles feature. There (and in measures) are the only place we can use the USERNAME() function.
Maybe this is exactly what you want.
You can create a role for your users and limit there which Industry they can see.
If you want a solution more dynamic, read this article from Kasper de Jonge
