Difficulty in opening power BI report in SSRS 2016

I am able to upload the pbix file in SSRS 2016 reporting services, when I try to open the report from browser it's not opening from browser rather it's opening from power bi desktop application.

When i search the internet, it's says i need to install "January 2017 Technical Preview" which is no longer available to download.

Can i view power BI reports from SSRS 2016 browser portal.

What is power bi report server?

Hi @hasan03,

To view Power BI reports on SSRS browser portal, you need to install Power BI Report Server and install Power BI Desktop optimized for Power BI Report Server. You can directly publish Power BI reports from desktop to Report Server. But you should be aware that currently, the only data source supported for Power BI reports are a live connection to Analysis Services (tabular or multidimensional).
