Data Source supported by on-premises Power BI Report Server?

Is this mockup question correct?

You have an on-premises Power BI Report Server.

You plan to create a report in Power BI Desktop and publish the report to the report server.

Which data source should the report use?

1. Microsoft Azure SQL Database
2. a Microsoft SQL Server database
3. a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) database
4. Microsoft Excel

one place i saw correct answer is 3 but I think we can connect to all 4 here.

Hi,

Yes you can connect all 4 database in Power BI desktop but if you need to connect to on-premises database then all except MS Azure SQL can be connected, as SQL Azure is cloud database and not a on-premise database.
