Cross Report-Navigate to the previous report in same tab using hyperlink back button.

Hi,

Let us consider two reports "source" and "target".

Here I'm using Cross Reports.

Q: How can I navigate to the source report within the target report tab by using hyperlink backbutton in target report?

Note: Do not use broswer back button .

Here  are the Sample reports, please go through it.

I would like to open the new report in same window and also have a back button which could navigate back to the original page.

How can I achieve this?

Thanks in Advance!

Awaiting for your responses.

Hi @saimahesh ,

I am afraid that you could only use the  broswer back button now. The back button only works on different pages of the same report.  If you want to return to the source report after the cross-report drillthrough action, use the browser's Back button. As mentioned in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-cross-report-drill-through#use-cros...

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
