Connection changes between refresh of a Power BI report on Power Pivot for SharePoint

Hi,

We have a use case where people develop small datamarts using Excel and Power Pivot, save it on SharePoint and consumed by other Excel files sitting also on SharePoint. This works well. Now we'd like to use Power BI for the same scenario and publish it to PBIRS. This setup work as well but for some reason the connection changes after a couple of minutes. After searching the problem, it's our understanding that this happens because when the first connection is establishted (when creating the Power BI report for instance), the Power Pivot model is uploaded memory into the Power Pivot for SharePoint SSAS instance and is given a name. The problem would come from the fact that the model in memory is released after a certain amount of time making the connection inside the Power BI report become invalid for the next data refresh.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Is there a setting somewhere that could help control that or a way to re-aquired a connection in Power BI dynamically?

Thanks.
