Configure Power BI report server using PowerShell

Hi, is it possible to configure Power BI report server using PowerShell?

I already have Power BI report server installed (also using PowerShell), but I have not run the Report server configuration manager yet. Is it possible to automate this?

For SSRS it is possible to retrieve the configuration and manipulate it, something like this:

$config = Get-WmiObject –namespace "root\Microsoft\SqlServer\ReportServer\NameOfMyInstance\V13\Admin" -class MSReportServer_ConfigurationSetting -filter "InstanceName='NameOfMyInstance'"

I'm having hard time to achive something similar for Power BI report server.

Thanks for advice,

Petr

Hi @parik,

I would suggest you firstly go through this article, there are some commands which you can try: https://github.com/Microsoft/ReportingServicesTools

Regarding detail code, maybe @mgmeyer@riccardomuti can help you?
