Can't download Power BI Report Server August update

I believe Microsoft hasn't updated the link to download the August version.

When I follow the link provided here I end up here, which is the June update... Anything I'm missing?

You need to scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see a 'Download Preview' link, it should resolve to this:

https://aka.ms/pbirsaug2017exe

The 'Download Trial' link is for the trial version of the GA release.
