I have been having this issue for the past few months and after much trial and error, I am stumped. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
I have created a SharePoint 2016 site for external(non company users/internal users can access as well) to access with an AD account I have created for them. External site access works fine.
I have added the web part for URLs to the site, the URL goes to a PBI report on our on premisis PBI Report Server. The reports load correctly after adding "?rs:Embed=true" to the end of the URL. So far so good.
However, the issue is the external and internal users have to sign in with AD credentials for SharePoint (which I want) but when the report starts to load from the report server, it asks for report server credentials (which I don't want). Everything works fine once the credentials are typed in twice and management will not allow this for external users.
I have tried the (remember credentials setting) in IE, which works but I would have to make those changes to every external user's IE or other browser which isn't feasible nor will management allow it.
Does anyone have a way to pass through the authentication or remove the authentication for the report server entirely when accessing through SharePoint 2016?
Seems like Kerberos would be the answer here potentially.
