Auto or Semi-Auto Refresh on Power BI Report Builder

Good Day and thank you for your interest.

Rather new to the Power BI Report Builder and somewhat famialar with Power BI Service. We are looking to create a paginated report on Power BI Report Builder with Dataverse being the data source. I noticed there were no options within the program to refresh the dataset. I understand the data is retrieved via queries, so is the data automatically refreshed if it changes in the data source? Say I add a record in the data source, how will the new data be updated in the paginated report in the published power BI workspace?

Appreciate any information on this.

Regards,

Sunny

For paginated reports, the data source is queried at the time the report is run (similar to DirectQuery). So if the data source is updated (and the paginated report is connected to that data source) then the paginated report should include the update whenever it is next run.
