Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) has its own desktop called "Power BI Desktop for Report Server".  You have to use this version to save reports to PBIRS.

Thank 4 your reply,

I tried to open my existing report in power bi report server desktop version but it show me below message

Hi,

even with the next PowerBI RS release you could missed some features used in your report. You really should use the compatible Power BI Desktop.

Example : like you did, i've built a report with a fresh Desktop and activate the "Composite model" to use the bi-directional joins. This preversion feature does not exist in the Power BI RS installed in my company, and i'm not even sure it will be packaged in the may version.

So i had to find a way to set up my report in a way that worked fine without this feature. The solution exists (thanks to the italians...), i changed my report, deactivate the pre version feature and eventually was able to open the pbix with the dedicated desktop and published it.

I know that the new release of PBIRS is due this month so good luck.
