Ability to Change Table or Matrix Column and Row Header Labels

Is there a way to change the labels for the table/matrix column headers in the table/matrix visual?

Because, usually the built in labels in SSAS measures and dimensions are not  user friendly to be displayed to the normal user...

Re: Ability to Change Table or Matrix Column and Row Header Labels

Hi @Luai7,

Currently, for Power BI desktop optimised for Report Server, it doesn't support to rename the labels of column headers in table/matrix visual.

Re: Ability to Change Table or Matrix Column and Row Header Labels

Any idea as if this is planned in the product road map??!!!!!!!

It is really frustrating!!!, because this critical feature was added long time ago to the Power BI Cloud. Customers cannot work on Power BI on-premise without it because each user wants to rename his/her table/matrix column headers and visual legend captions as he/she wants and not as what was developed in the model!!

This feature already exists in the Reporting Services Paginated Reports!!!

The argument raised by all customers: Is why should we upgrade to SQL Server Enterprise Edition in order to design Power BI reports if we cannot do this very simple yet critical customization in our reports??!!!

This idea was closed back in July 2017 but on the Power BI cloud!!!!!

Why it is not implemented in Power BI On-Premise???!!!!
