In my recent quest to create or catalog as many DAX equivalents for Excel functions, SERIESSUM turned out to be way easy. The only hitch is that you need an Index column and this formula assumes an Index starting at 1. Why? Because it is important to know the order of the coefficients in the series, that's why.
SERIESSUM =
VAR __Table =
ADDCOLUMNS(
'Table',
"Product",[Value]*POWER([x],[n]+[m]*([Index]-1))
)
RETURN
SUMX(__Table,[Product])
