web query parameters must use text (or any?) type

Hi All,

just a quick tip that took me a while to figure out: If you want to use parameters with web queries, you must define them as text type (or perhaps any type - not sure). Otherwise they will not show up in the advanced web query editor, and even wrapping them with text conversion functions does not seem to work. Just so you know!

Thanks! Good to know. By the way, you alaways can use advanced query editor and convert whatever datatypes you have into text within your M script.

Yes, but unfortunately it seems that these "hand edited queries" cannot get refreshed automatically in the PBI service...

Indeed that works - thanks!
