Hi.
I have the following tables:
dim_CostActivity
fact_CostDetails
fact_BudgetDetails
my cost activity is ofcourse coming back in multiple tables. Unique values. So i linked this to both fact tables on the CostActivity field
What i don't get is, that when i use a measured SUM on total budget and total costs, one of these is showing same values on all rows.
For example:
matrix table with CostActivity and TotalBudget from Budget table, and then TotalCost from cost table gives me the correct values per activity for budget, but same totals on every row for Costs.
matrix table with CostActivity and TotalCosts from Cost table, and then TotalBudget from budget table, gives me the correct values per activity for budget, but same totals on every row for Budget.
So somehow the relations arent working like they should?

Hi @ImkeF
thanks for your reply. I double checked the settings, and all keys are same formatting.
what i did wrong (i typed another explanation here and by typing something popped in my mind....)
i used the activity code from 1 of the fact tables, and not the activity from the dim_CostActivity table.... 😄
Hi @bvdm1980 ,
indeed, that's often the reason.
Make sure that the key-columns are of the same type (text or numbers for example).
