sharepoint gateway error(not showing Oauth in Datasource Setting) and fails to refresh automatically

I have a SharePoint data source created with PBI desktop and choose authorization as an organizational account. Published the report in web service. The report does not get refreshed whenever there is a change in the share point excel. Scheduling report also throws an error because " credentials issue". Oauth2 is no longer showing in the Authentication method. How to manually refresh or configure schedule refresh for this report? It's a simple report and every time i have to manually refresh the PBI desktop report and publish to the web. Please provide your suggestions.

Do you upload the Excel in on-premises SharePoint site or SharePoint online? If you use on-premises SharePoint site, please use Windows authentication in Power BI Desktop, and you would need to use gateway in Power BI Service to refresh the dataset.

If you use Sharepoint online, you can use  organizational account.

I use a sharepoint and entered organizational credentials, hence I am still getting the same error.
