query editor, filters return 0 values

I'm trying to setup a new data source in PowerBI and want to filter out data I don't need for the dashboard. This is a connection to a MySQL database.

Examples:

Filter by date range - previous 3 months only

Filter by specific value type

Whenever I attempt to filter data in Query Editor for a new connection it returns 0 values even though I know data exists matching the specified filters.

Is anyone else having issues filtering data in Query Editor?
