merge query colums selection based on slicer selection

Hi,

I have a situation like this.

I have two table.

table 1: column headers as

Order#   Date   Spec1   Spec2  Spec3  default1   default2 default3....

table 2: column headers as

ConfigID   Spec1   Spec2  Spec3  default1   default2 default3....

I merged two tables in quers selecting  - Spec1   Spec2  Spec3  default1   default2 default3.... columns in both the table to match all selected column entries in two tables and returning a configID for a order#.

Now the case is I need a slicer to select spec 1/2/3 or combinations of them to match during merge queries. The default1/2/3 are default during merges.

for example, if I select spec1 & spec3 in a slicer say, the merge should happen based on matching the values in spec1, spec3, default1   default2 default3....

Any small help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @vissvess ,

As I know we cannot create a dynamic calculated table in power bi. Maybe we can work it out by some other ways to work around. Kindly share your sample data and excepted result to me if you don't have any Confidential Information. Please upload your files to One Drive and share the link here.
