for ex: an activity starts at 1:23 and ends at 1:57 then it ll represents in time slots 1:15-1:30 , also in time slot 1:30-1:45, as that activity is continues at that time and also in1:45-2:00.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @Anonymous

1. create a time slots of 15 min

Refer to this link :

http://datacornering.com/how-to-generate-date-and-time-interval-list-using-power-query/

2. What would you like finally?

A visual which shows counts of activities during each time period(every 15 minutes)?

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for the link but it is not useful.

I want to create heatmap (using matrix visual) to show  all timeslots (from 00:00-00:15 ....,23:45-00:00)for 24 hours(with 15 min gaps) on x axis and on y axis activity name.I need a count corresponding  to any activity happens for how many time in which time slots.

for time slots ,i need in a way that if activity no 5 is  starts at 2:09  and ends at 2:58 then it ll give me count 1 in all the time slots from when it starts till when it ends.

2:00-2:15,2:15-2:30,2:30-2:45,2:45-3:00
