Hi @Anonymous
Remove your current Change Type step or convert the Date column to Text type first. Then right click on the Date column and select Change Type > Using Locale... In the Change Type window, select Date for Data Type, English (United Kingdom) or other locales which has the same date format as your original Date column input. This should change the type into Date correctly.

Hello,
I'm experiencing the same problem,
Unfortunately, the solution here didn't work,
The data type is "text" but, when trying to change it to a date, or change it by locale, all become to be "errors"
I tried to:
Nothing seems to be working
Any Ideas?

Hi @Rotemshan
As your original column has both date and timestamps values, change its type to Date/Time instead of Date. When it is of Date/Time type, then you can change it to Date type without any errors.

Eventually, I changed the source of the data to XLSX instead of CSV, it saves a lot of time transforming the data,
I'm not sure if this is the best practice, but it works.
Thank you very much
@Anonymous
Your dates columns are not in Date Type, please change the type to date before this step.

Can you please elaborate further, I have changed from the data type to date.
Besides making sure you are using the correct locale settings, I'm afraid the solution is to clean up that dirty data.

I tried changing my locale but the problem still prevails. Can you see the second SS and tell how can I replace the dashes or remove those dashes.
