display measure as a value

hi all

i have a measure that counts the amount of entries based on a filter

Total Incidents = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(TblEventTracker[EventTracker_ID]), FILTER(TblEventTracker,[EventType_IDFK]=1))

how can i use this in a slicer so i can display it as a value?

Hi @Anonymous

To use you're measure as a slicer, you have to create a new table to use it as a slicer.

@Anonymous

You cannot put measure as a slicer since it does not have static values to be selected. You can create a column use the same dax formulas to be used as a slicer.

Not sure I understand your scenario.  Have you tried just putting your measure in a Card visual?  Please clarify if you are looking for more than that.
