connecting to on-premises server through Enterprise gateway from multiple tenants

We are planning an implementation where we will need to connect to an on-premises SQL Server instance from three separate PowerBI tenants (domains). These domains will be federated with the host server domain. Is this supported by the Enterprise Gateway, and if so are there any special installation or configuration considerations?

Hi @Anonymous,
You can use the UPN mapping to do cross-domain mapping : https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-gateways-april-update/

The Gateway machine has to be connected to the domain to enable this to work.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for drawing my attention to this new feature @dimazaid.  Is my understanding correct that each user would have to be mapped individually?
