We are using the Salesforce Survey tool, It creates standard salesforce objects. These are viewable in the dataloader app from salesforce, as will as various 3rd party tools. Usually you can see all the standard objects in salesforce in the get data, but in powerbi you can't (you also can't in excel or access) I want to stress because it has come up before in questions, these are not custom objects, these are standard salesforce object, they are:
Survey
Survey Email Branding
Survey Invitation
SurveyInvitationShare
SurveyPage
Survey Question
Survey Question Choice
Survey Question Response
Survey Response
SurveyShare
Survey Version
has anyone else run across this problem, is powerbi just not upto date?
thanks
Hi!
I am also having this issue. I want to build dataflows with SF Survey objects but I cannot find them. I do see them when using PBi desktop, but not service. Any recent idea on how to deal with this?
@Anonymous,
The salesforce object connector in Power BI Desktop uses salesforce rest api to integrate data with salesforce. However, based on my research, salesforce rest api doesn't provide access to survey objects, but SOAP API provides access.
Are you able to use salesforce REST explorer to access the survey object?
