Hi,
I am pretty new with Power BI and CRM(online/prem) together. As far as I have read Power BI supports sixdata sources [please refer here : https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-refresh-data/#live-connections-and-directq... ] for the Direct Query feature excluding MS CRM.
However, I have a dashboard prepared with CRM data import and published to Power BI service as well as Power BI Embedded (we are talking about Azure service here), is there a way to enable something of short like Direct Query so that users have access to live data from CRM.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Prakash_K_Singh,
Power BI automatically refreshes the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online data displayed, refresh usually occurs once-a-day. As the CRM Online is in the cloud, it doesn't require gateway. You can also manually refresh(click Refresh Now for the dataset) or setup a refresh schedule(click Schedule Refresh for the dataset) to update data.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

Thanks this is helpful. We have some existing datasets in PB from SQL on prem and using direct queries and gateway is used. Requirement is to also include data feeds from dynamics into the same datasets, but how do we refresh data from dynamics, when the existing dataset is using direct query?
Thanks in advance.
