Using Microsoft Azure Enterprise data in Power BI - "Failed to update data source credentials" error

Hello,

I'm trying to access Azure Enterprise data in Power BI, and I can't get the conenction working.

This is the error:

"Failed to update data source credentials: We are unable to connect to the data source. Please ensure that data source is accessible."

I am a Department Administrator, not a full blown EA, but I have the rights to download the billing data (this was delegated).

in the BI setup, its asking for an Account Key - do I need to get this frmo the account owner, or can I use the long API key generated from the EA portal?

Thanks all.

you can use the long key

Also make sure to add your enrollment number

Your enrollment number is a  seperate field in power bi as a service

If you use power bi desktop, make sure to use https://ea.azure.com/rest/[enrollmentnumber] as the website. After that use th elong key.

Regards,

 Bert
