Unable to publish Google Analytics report to web

Hello,

I have generated a Google analytics dashboard and report.

I would like to get a link to share the report online, but the option is not available (I'm talking about the "Publish to web" sharing option):

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this somehow? I can't copy the report from "Apps" to my workspace.

Something I thought of doing is merging this report with another one. Is it possible to do this? I have a big marketing report that this would fit nicely into. But I can't figure out how to do it.

Thanks

@Anonymous,

When directly getting google Analytics app in Power BI Service, it is not possible to edit the report or publish it to web. And it is not possible to merge the report with other report.

Please connect to Google Analytics PBIT in Power BI Desktop, this way, you are able to connect to other data sources in this PBIX file, and you can publish the PBIX file to Power BI Service, then publish the report to web.

@Anonymous,

It is not possible to copy and paste visuals between different pbix files. But after you get the query code (Advanced Editor) and copy paste that from one report to the other, you can upload both PBIX file to Power BI Service and copy visuals between different reports in Power BI Service, there is a blog for your reference.

Hello Lydia,

Thank you for your response.

This file is perfect.

However, I have one more question:

Is it possible to combine two different pbix files? I would like to merge this Google Analytics report with the one I made myself. I spent a lot of time working on the queries and visuals, i would hate to have to do everything over again.

I know I can get the query code (Advanced Editor) and copy paste that from one report to the other, however I can't seem to copy visual from one to another.

Thanks a lot, and have a great day
